Still in his early twenties, Jason Aguilar has been winning motorcycle road races since he first took the track in 2007.

Mini-bike Champion in his first season, at the age of ten, the past twelve years have seen the Californian become one of the leading riders in the MotoAmerica Championship.

Winning the MotoAmerica Superstock 600cc Championship in style in 2017, Jason progressed into the highly competitive Supersport category finishing 10th in his debut season, before improving still further (8th) in 2019.

2020 saw Jason launch his most serious attempt for Supersport success to date. Three podium finishes saw him end the year in fourth position overall.

It’s all change for Jason and his team in 2021 as they make the step into the MotoAmerica Superbike Championship. He will race the latest Yamaha R1.

Interestingly, Aguilar will continue to race #96, a number he has used in recent years and which is his own personal way of honouring the late Nicky Hayden.
